This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. This is another fantastic book by Esther. Ronin is the president of the Lost Valkyries MC. He was hired to do a hit and he did with a bonus person. Then he realizes there is someone else in the hotel room. A girl. He knows the moment he sees her that she isn’t there because she wants to be and that he wants her. Anouk finds herself in an interesting situation. First tied up in a bathroom and then taken by a man who sets her alight. He is sweet and caring one minute and then completely different the next. Not that it matters now. It doesn’t take long to find out why Anouk was in that hotel room and why. Someone is going to come for Anouk and Ronin doesn’t have any intention of letting her go. Looks like someone is going to get more than they bargained for. I can’t say enough about this book or how fantastic Esther is. I always look forward to reading books by her. Anouk is a spunky, great girl. She is scared of Ronin or what could happen to her. Ronin answers to no one. He never expected to find his Old Lady but he knows right away when he saw Anouk she was his. He will kill anyone who tries take her from him. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book and all of Esther’s books.
